Program Objective

The program is designed to train a future CNA or certified nursing assistant to provide necessary patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical nurse. Students will gain knowledge and skills necessary to work as a valuable team member in a large selection of medical facilities including hospitals, private clinics, nursing homes, and in home care. Our goal is to prepare the students for the State Board Exam. ASA College is a New York State official testing center.

Theoretical Part: lectures, assignments and demonstrations in a school lab;
Practical Skills: externship in a nursing facility;    


High School Diploma /GED or the ability to pass the entrance exam.
